Rustan’s celebrated world-class Filipino craftsmanship with an exhibit titled Dayaw: Culture and Art Exhibition at the flagship store in Makati. Led by Senator Loren Legarda and Rustan’s Zenaida Tantoco, Donnie Tantoco and Amb. Bienvenido Tantoco Sr., the exhibit shed light on the intricate work of indigenous people and their respective tribes. Guests were given a first-hand look through live demonstrations at the meticulous process of the various weaving techniques and pattern making such as Traditional Ga’dang Cloth Weaving and Accessories Making, Traditional Tikog Mat Weaving, and Traditional Bagobo Beads Making and Embroidery. Some of the distinguished guests were Former Chief Justice Art Panganipan, Betry Westendorp, Amb. Tonet Lagdameo, Ditta Sandico, Tessa Prieto Valdes and Tessie Luz.
