Donation Drives To Help Those Affected By Typhoon Carina

For those seeking ways to help the many Filipinos affected by the catastrophic rains of Typhoon Carina, here is a list of donation drives that accept monetary and in-kind donations.

Typhoon Carina (known internationally as “Gaemi”) intensified monsoon rains in the Philippines from July 23 to July 24, 2024. It quickly turned into a super typhoon that brought in strong, continuous rains and winds, causing severe flooding across the country but most prominently within the National Capital Region (NCR). By July 24, the Metro Manila Council declared a state of calamity within the NCR, as hundreds of Filipinos had to evacuate their homes or undergo rescue operations amid the natural disaster.
