Naturally, the campaign was shot at Disney World in Florida.
Givenchy has teamed up with Disney for “The Wonder Gallery,” a playful capsule collection featuring its creative director Matthew M. Williams favorite characters from the childhood films.
In a tweet, the Paris-based label said, “The House of Givenchy is pleased to announce its collaboration with @Disney on a limited-edition capsule collection celebrating the iconic legacy of the Walt Disney Animation Studios.”

Before the collection dropped on May 17, four teasers were released on Givenchy’s YouTube channel, indicating the famous characters selected: Bambi, Perdita, and Pongo from 101 Dalmatians, Elsa and Olaf from Frozen, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
The seven minimalist pieces, with only the characters and Disney’s Cinderella Castle’s silhouettes on t-shirts and hoodies, are now available on Givenchy’s website.
Revived collab
This marks the 70-year-old brand’s second collaboration with Disney. In 2013, they designed a limited-edition Disney x Givenchy’s Bambi sweatshirt.
Riccardo Tisci helmed the brand during the first collaboration. The current chief creative officer of Burberry designed the piece with a fawn with a painting of a woman. And a Disney fan, Williams was happy to revive the partnership.
“Disney has always held a special place in my heart, as it has for so many across generations, countries, and cultures.,” he said in a statement.
“As a boy from California and a father in Paris, Disney has always been a source of meaningful moments throughout my life. It’s a true honor to bring out two iconic brands together for this project.”
