From the team behind Bar.Flora, the new Greenhills tea house follows tea from quiet daytime pots and lotus-centered lunches to tea wines and cocktails after dark.
Flora Tea Bar is now open in Greenhills, serving as a tea house by day and a tea bar by night. Tea runs through the entire experience: freshly brewed loose-leaf varieties, matcha and hojicha drinks, a lotus-centered lunch menu, afternoon tea, tea wines, and cocktails. The new opening comes from the team behind Bar.Flora, where gin and tea have shared the spotlight since the botanical-forward bar opened in Tomas Morato in 2023. Three years later, each side of that original pairing is given more room to grow. The Tomas Morato location continues as Flora Gin Bar, now with a renewed focus on gin, while tea takes the lead in Greenhills.
“Here, tea is at the heart of everything,” shares Brand Director Denise Fajardo. “Whether you’re enjoying freshly brewed loose-leaf tea, savoring a tea cocktail, or sharing an afternoon tea with friends, tea is the thread that ties the experience together.”

The idea for a dedicated tea house developed through the team’s travels around Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and Japan. Some of their strongest memories were formed in small neighborhood tea houses, where discovering a particular variety became closely tied to a place or time.
“We started bringing teas home from every trip and realized that tea creates a very different kind of experience,” Fajardo explains. “Slower, more reflective, and often more personal.”
What To Expect From The Menu At Flora Tea Bar
Flora Tea Bar offers signature matcha and hojicha drinks alongside loose-leaf teas sourced directly from producers in China, Taiwan, and Japan. Guests can explore the collection through different preparations, including Gongfu-style service.
The menu changes with the time of day. A lotus-centered lunch offering gives way to afternoon tea, followed by full dinner service, tea-forward cocktails, and Tea Wines inspired by the team’s discoveries in Taipei and Fukuoka.
First-time visitors are encouraged to begin with tea before moving into snacks, a meal, or a cocktail. “The goal isn’t really to rush through the menu,” Fajardo adds. “It’s to discover how many different forms tea can take throughout a meal.”
