8 Steakhouses In Manila Worth Booking For Father’s Day 2026

By

Ask almost any dad and he’ll tell you there’s nothing quite like a juicy steak to celebrate Father’s Day, so we’ve gathered some of the best steakhouses in Manila offering the hearty feasts he deserves.

Not that we’re pushing stereotypes, but dads just really, really love their steaks. Barring those with food restrictions or specific diets, you’d be hard pressed to find a dad who’ll say no to his preference of beef, cut and cooked the way he likes, always juicy and flavorful. So, you know the drill: Father’s Day 2026 is just around the corner, and it’s time to make those reservations. We know, we know—he’ll say “You didn’t have to” or “I don’t really mind where we eat, it’s the company,” both of which are true, but when he wears that big smile seeing a plateful of steak, you’ll know you did something right.  We’re making the mission of treating dad to a meat-lover’s feast easier by rounding up some of the best steakhouse spots in Metro Manila, both in ambiance and food. Ready, set, slice!

Brontë

Dad deserves the coolest in the Metro, so what better way to celebrate Father’s Day than with a trip to the new Brontë at the fast-growing culinary hub that’s the Levanto building in Makati. Brontë is all about bringing the bestest and freshest of Australia straight to your table. In the capable hands of Chef Wade Watson, dad’s going to be getting nothing but well-rested steaks, whether that’s a Carrara Wagyu Ribeye, Snake and River Farms Gold Label Striploin, and grand Côte de Boeuf Carrara Bone-In and Brontë Grand Porterhouse.

And if he wants a feast, fresh seafood delights and an array of no-fluff, honest-to-goodness dishes: Foie Gras Terrine, Wagyu Beef Tacos, Oscietra caviar, Boston Lobster Risotto—you know, the real good stuff. Since it’s a big day, the restaurant’s impressive line-up of top tier wines and cocktails will leave dad feeling like the special-est guy in town.

Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

Pops might just be in the mood for a Wolfgang Zweiner classic, and we understand. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse remains a no-brainer for those who just want that mouth-watering USDA Prime dry-aged American beef that’s unlike any other. Their Porterhouse is also a father-approved favorite, with a tender filet mignon and New York strip melded in a single cut that’s sure to satisfy.

Who can forget the delicious sides: the restaurant’s famous Lobster Mac & Cheese, German Potatoes, shrimp cocktail, and Crab Cake, capped off with its selection of wines and a sweet New York-style cheesecake, because why not? Dad deserves the cheat day.

La Cabrera

Argentine-style steaks are a whole different ballgame in the best way. Sometimes, dad just wants parilla-cooked chunks of meat: smoky, a little crisp on the outside and absolutely tender on the inside thanks to an open-flame wood-fired grill.

No one does this quite as well or as long as La Cabrera has here in Manila, and ask most any dad out there, he’ll probably nod in agreement. Gastón Riveira’s gift to the world just keeps on giving, and if you want to treat dad to a feast that won’t disappoint, La Cabrera is an easy choice, whether he wants his entraña (skirt steak) or cuadril (rump steak/top sirloin). Pair it with the restaurant’s selection of equally delectable hot and cold sides, and you’ve got a memorable Father’s Day meal.

(P.S. this Father’s Day 2026, La Cabrera is handing out a complimentary glass of Engkanto beer for every dad that dines, which you must admit, is nothing short of enticing.)

Elbert’s Steak Room

Since its establishment in 2007, Elbert’s Steak Room has always been the “if you know, you know” place to be for USDA Prime grade beef (the steakhouse playfully calls itself a “steakeasy,” which is a pretty apt way to put it). No frills—just great quality meat, cooked consistently.

The go-to would be a nice Steak Dinner, where dad gets his complete set of steak, salad, soup, side dish, and tea or coffee; for those big get-togethers, a Tomahawk Ribeye or Porterhouse made to be passed around or shared. The establishment also serves Prime Rib for lunch, and offers an assortment of more casual dishes, too.

(P.S. If dad wants to treat himself to a big cigar or a serving of whisky, maybe even both, he needn’t go far, as Elbert’s Steak Room also has a cigar and whisky lounge right below the restaurant itself—talk about convenience.)

Ruby Jack’s Steakhouse & Bar

Straight from its native Tokyo, Ruby Jack’s Steakhouse & Bar at Ayala Triangle Gardens offers a sleek atmosphere, fantastic steaks, and side dishes that feel like the main event. For dads who appreciate a great slab of meat, the place offers a refined steakhouse experience featuring a premium selection of Japanese Wagyu, USDA Prime, Australian Black Angus, and house dry-aged beef, char-grilled to perfection to showcase the quality of each cut.

Steak & Frice

You really can’t go wrong with tender, juicy slices of steak paired with a heapful of fries and buttery steak rice. Fathers know this: sometimes the simplest things are the best, which is why you don’t mess with the steak-frites formula. Steak & Frice understands this, too. The restaurant offers all that and more on a plate, its relaxed modern atmosphere providing a nice setting for a casual yet generous Father’s Day meal that’s full of heart.

Created by restaurateur Amado Forés, the Michelin Guide-selected steakhouse serves premium cuts of US Ribeye, Wagyu Striploin, and Chateaubriand, each served with its signature pairing of crispy fries and flavorful steak rice (complete with complimentary refills), as well as house-made sauces.

Smith & Wollensky

What do dad and Miranda Priestly have in common? Not much, perhaps, other than the fact that they’re both great at what they do and would likely order a juicy Smith & Wollensky steak. The difference is that dad will actually (and happily) eat the steak, rather than leave it untouched out of sheer busyness.

The iconic New York steakhouse recently made a home in BGC, bringing cuts of its beloved USDA Prime dry-aged steaks straight to Manila diners. Whether dad is searching for generously portioned ribeyes to its signature bone-in cuts, he can expect a plateful of the restaurant’s time-honored approach to aging and grilling, each bite an unforgettable one.
