Gordon Ramsay Updates: What's New With The Star Chef?

The British chef is bringing two new restaurant concepts to the Philippines, while Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill is introducing a new snacks menu and refreshing Paloma cocktails for the summer. 

On the heels of the success of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines at Newport World Resorts, the famed British chef behind the franchise is bringing two more restaurant concepts to the country: Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Street Burger by Gordon Ramsay, both of which will open their first-ever Philippine locations side by side at Cebu’s The Mactan Newtown by the middle of 2025.

It’s a timely announcement that follows the chef’s landmark visit to Manila last January, signaling the continued growth of his global restaurant portfolio in Asia. The two new dining concepts will offer casual, quality-driven menus that reflect Ramsay’s signature flair, set against the backdrop of one of Cebu’s premier beach destinations.

Classic Coastline Indulgence

Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips will bring fast-casual flair and over-the-counter style to the chef’s signature take on its titular British staple. Other treats like crave-worthy Lobster & Shrimp, Dirty Chips, and decadent handcrafted milkshakes will also complete the indulgent experience.

Right next door, Street Burger by Gordon Ramsay will be subverting the image of a classic American diner with a bold lineup. These include the much-hyped Idiot Burger, the G.F.C. (Gordon’s Fried Chicken) Burger, and the O.G.R. Burger, along with other fan favorites.

As you’re waiting for the new Ramsay concepts to open (and planning your inevitable Cebu trip for when that happens), why not drop by Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill? The concept continues to keep things fresh and exciting with special menus and collaborations, the most recent one being a brand new Bar Snacks Menu.

This May, the restaurant will be serving a curated selection of eight finely-crafted creations, all of which will be exclusively available at its Spanish-marble centerpiece bar from 3 PM to 1030 PM daily. 

House-made by the talented young culinary team at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill PH, these bite-sized culinary confections include the Pork Sausage Rolls, Meatballs with Creamy Polenta, Brioche Crab Rolls, and the velvety Chicken Liver & Foie Parfait. Seafood lovers can indulge in the Indian Ocean Tiger Prawns, and those with a sweet tooth will definitely delight in the Hazelnut & Chocolate Profiteroles and Raspberry Beignets, both perfectly paired with signature cocktails. 

For the ultimate tasting experience, guests can opt for the Bar Snack Platter, choosing any three or six dishes, ideal for sharing and pairing with selections from the bar’s extensive wine and cocktail list.

Speaking of drinks, to complement the launch and in celebration of Paloma Month, the restaurant will also offer three handcrafted and limited-edition Paloma cocktails in partnership with Casa Don Ramón Tequila. There’s the “Agave Sunrise Slush,” a vibrant blend of Don Ramón Tequila Reposado, homemade banana liqueur, mango, grapefruit; the “Midnight Paloma,” which features Don Ramón Anejo, spiced agave, grapefruit soda, and lemon salt; and the “Blossom & Bloom,” a floral and peppery concoction made with Don Ramón Silver, grapefruit and pink peppercorn oleo-saccharum and Sakura vermouth.

The party doesn’t have to end on Fridays and Saturdays, as the restaurant’s resident DJ, Teejay, takes over the decks from 9 PM onwards, spinning dynamic sets to transition the evening into an elevated lounge experience.
