Demi Moore
Demi Moore attended the Cannes Film Festival to promote her film The Substance. For the film’s premiere, the actress wore a Schiaparelli double satin dress from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The dress, designed by Daniel Roseberry, also featured a “surrealist aerodynamic bow neckline.”
At the festival’s closing ceremony, Moore wore a Celine dress which also featured a large bow. The film she starred in, The Substance, won the award for Best Screenplay during the ceremony.
Bella Hadid
Fashion model Bella Hadid marked her return to Cannes in a sheer Saint Laurent dress. Hadid wore the midi dress designed by Anthony Vaccarello to the premiere of The Apprentice. She completed the look with jewelry from Chopard, sporting the brand through the rest of the festival.
Her next red carpet look was a Versace haute couture gown from the Spring/Summer 2001 collection. The dress, which she wore to the premiere of L’Amour Ouf, featured a halter neck bodice, a sequin skirt, and a gauzy shawl. Donatella Versace commented on Hadid’s look, saying, “You bring the magic to the Cannes Film Festival.”
Anya Taylor-Joy
The star of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Anya Taylor-Joy, looked like a princess in her Dior tulle ball gown. The embroidered dress, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, was paired with sparkling Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
The actress continued to represent Dior and Tiffany & Co. throughout the festival. From an embroidered black silk dress to a sheer white number, Taylor-Joy served versatile looks all week long.
Cate Blanchett
Cate Blanchett’s Jean Paul Gaultier gown drew attention online for seemingly making a statement. In photos, the dress’ soft pink hue turned white.
Along with the black front, the green lining underneath, and the red carpet, some of her photos turned out to look like the Palestinian flag. Though the message hasn’t been confirmed, Blanchett has been vocal about calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
At the premiere of Rumours, the actress walked the red carpet in a custom gold gown from Louis Vuitton. She also wore High Jewelry pieces from Francesca Amfitheatrof’s Spirit Collection.
Naomi Campbell
Making a throwback, Naomi Campbell re-wore a Chanel couture dress she modeled on the catwalk in 1996. Styled by Law Roach, the archival dress designed by Karl Lagerfeld made its way to the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
For the Women in Cinema Gala, Campbell went with a Loewe dress from the Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The pale aqua gown featured an oversized belt buckle at the front and bodice cutouts. Finishing the look, the supermodel wore jewels from Pasquale Bruni.
