Miss Saigon 2024’s Manila run gave its esteemed guests a gala night to remember with a resplendent production unlike any other.

The lights of Miss Saigon illuminated The Theatre at Solaire, as Manila witnessed a Gala Night of MISS SAIGON. Guests included Martin Nievera, Ice Seguerra, Jed Madela, Vina Morales, Christian Bautista, Bituin Escalante, and National Artist Ricky Lee were among the distinguished guests who joined in the celebration, showcasing their support for the iconic musical.

The Gala Night also saw the gathering of esteemed MISS SAIGON figures, who brought a sense of nostalgia and reverence to the event. The show’s composer Claude Michel-Schönberg was joined by notable alumni and alumna such as Robert Sena, Jenine Desiderio, Jamie Rivera, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Pinky Amador, Cocoy Laurel, Robbie Guevara, and Carla Guevara Laforteza reunited to reminisce about their time with the production, reaffirming the enduring legacy of MISS SAIGON in Philippine theater history. The event also attracted dignitaries, including the US Ambassador Mary Kay Carlson, UK Ambassador Laure Beaufils, businessman Hans Sy, and President and CEO of presenting sponsor UnionBank Edwin Bautista.

Key figures from GMG Production added to the significance of the evening, with CEO Carlos Candal and board members Bob Sewell and Richard Lewis, along with COO Paul Mansfield, lending their support to the success of the event.
