According to Variety, Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling playfully argued about “Barbenheimer” at the 2024 Oscars.
The two stars presented an award together. They joked about the cultural phenomenon surrounding the simultaneous release of Barbie (starring Gosling) and Oppenheimer (starring Blunt) last summer.
Gosling expressed relief that they could finally put the “Barbenheimer” rivalry behind them. Blunt responded by noting that given the way the award season had unfolded, it wasn’t much of a rivalry to begin with.
Gosling then congratulated Blunt. He jokingly suggesting that the reason they called it “Barbenheimer” instead of “Oppenbarbie” was because Blunt’s film was riding on Barbie’s success all summer.

Da’Vine Joy Randolph’s Heartfelt Oscars Acceptance Speech
Da’Vine Joy Randolph delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech at the 2024 Oscars.
Randolph won the award for Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Mary Lamb in Alexander Payne’s The Holdovers.
As reported by USA Today, Randolph expressed gratitude to her mother, who had encouraged her to pursue acting from a young age.

John Cena’s Naked Oscars Entrance
As per CNN, John Cena made a surprising entrance at the 2024 Oscars by walking onstage completely naked except for a pair of Birkenstocks.
He was there to present the Best Costume Design award, which went to Poor Things. Cena joked about the importance of clothes before host Jimmy Kimmel threw him a gown to cover up, creating a fun and humorous moment.
