Stunning Style
Some of Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered at the Academy Museum and stepped onto the red carpet in their best fashion looks.

Award-winning actress Ayo Edibiri wore a Couture design from Thom Browne featuring an asymmetric skirt and corseted bodice. She completed the look with jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

Louis Vuitton ambassador Cynthia Erivo repped the label, wearing a custom design for the evening. Her green gown was shimmering with the intricate beading.

Evening’s Honorees
The evening’s program began with some welcoming words from co-chair Eva Longoria. She then introduced Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg, who presented honoree Rita Moreno with the Icon Award.
The filmmaker and actress previously worked together in the 2021 film adaptation of West Side Story. Spielberg also took a moment to praise Moreno’s delicious Puerto Rican cooking.

After dinner, four-time Oscar-nominated actress Saoirse Ronan presented the Vantage Award to her recent co-star Paul Mescal. The two starred in the 2023 science fiction psychological thriller film Foe.
Lastly, John Travolta presented the Luminary Award to renowned filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. The two famously worked on Pulp Fiction together and Travolta credited the director for reviving his career by casting him in the iconic film.
As the evening came to a close, Ariana Grande introduced her co-star Cynthia Erivo who performed four songs for the gala’s guests. Erivo treated the audience to her own renditions of “I’m Here” from The Color Purple, Diana Ross’s “Home” from The Wiz, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz, and Prince’s “Purple Rain.”
