The star is truly a woman of many talents with an exclusive list of clientele consisting of celebrities and other VIPs.
Actress Deborah Craig recently shared an Instagram post about the comedy series The Emperor of Malibu featuring one of Heart Evangelista’s creations.
While reminiscing about the show’s pilot episode, Craig posted a scene where her character was wearing one of Evangelista’s hand-painted Hermès Kelly Bags. The painting depicts a woman’s side profile against a backdrop of flowers.

The artist first shared her Hermès paintings to the public in an art exhibit at the Volkswagen Showroom in Bonifacio Global City back in 2016. Under her real name, Love Marie Ongpauco Escudero, she also surprised everyone with her first art exhibit at the Ayala Museum in 2014.
Now a prolific artist, Evangelista’s list of clientele includes big names such as Jinkee Pacquiao, Kim Chiu, and Maggie Wilson, among others. When asked about her starting price in an interview with Karen Davila, the artist answered: “My bags, like when I paint on bags, it’s about P200,000.”
Just last March, the painter posted photos of what seems to be the same bag from The Emperor of Malibu on Instagram. In the caption, she said: “And we say goodbye to one of my #lovemariehandpaintedbags it was so much fun painting on these Hermes bags 🥂 glad ‘she’ will have a new home 🫶🏼 shall we paint again?”
As part of her collaboration with Moonlight Arts Collective, Evangelista’s hand-painted bags were also on exhibition at the Snow Lodge in Aspen, Colorado last year.
“People always ask, do I get nervous about painting these bags? The answer is: all the time, every single time. I always pray before I start painting,” the artist said.
