Under Armor is locking down a lifetime deal with the Finals MVP.
Stephen Curry, the current NBA Champion and Finals MVP, will reportedly sign one of the most significant apparel contracts in the league’s history. Under Armor is locking down a lifetime deal with the 34-year-old worth more than $1 billion per Rolling Stone.
However, both Curry and the sportswear brand have yet to confirm the rumored contract. In 2009, the Ohio native signed with Nike. The partnership lasted for four years until 2013 when his contract expired. By 2020, his four-year-long endorsement deal with Under Armor began.

Since then, the Golden State Warrior has released two basketball shoes with Under Armor, the Curry Flow 8 and Curry Flow 9. Last August, he unveiled the following design, the Curry Flow 10, through a Twitter post.
Curry’s possible billion-dollar deal would trump the sports world’s biggest endorsement deals. This includes Derrick Rose’s contract with Adidas ($260 million), golfer Rory McIlroy for Nike ($250 million), and boxer George Foreman’s endorsement contract with kitchen appliance company Salton Inc. ($137.5 million).
