But they’ve all admitted that when they have time to rest, it’s time to lounge around and catch up on the latest episodes of their favorite shows. Get ready to binge watch the K-Dramas that had some of our favorite idols hooked.

Crash Landing On You recommended by J-Hope

During his birthday VLive, J-Hope mentioned that he was tuning in to the Crash Landing On You finale. 

He mentioned the series’ moving love story, saying that he would like to experience something like that in the future as well.

The story follows billionaire heiress Yoon Se-ri as she crashes into North Korean territory due to a paragliding mishap. Army captain Ri Jeong-hyeok comes to her aid and their relationship soon develops into a love that crosses borders.

Twenty Five Twenty One recommended by Jungkook

BTS’ maknae has often posted Instagram stories about the coming-of-age drama. Before the series’ finale, Jungkook was worrying about the story’s outcome, saying “I don’t like sad endings. Director-nim you heard us? We put our hope on you.”

Twenty Five Twenty One is set in 1998 where Na Hee-do is pursuing her passion for fencing. In the present day, Hee-do’s daughter comes across her old diary, where she reads about the relationship between Hee-do and the hardworking Baek Yi-jin.

Sky Castle recommended by RM, Jin, and Suga

RM, Jin, and Suga have all mentioned watching this drama during their VLives. RM even says he rushed home to watch the finale, warning Suga not to watch it until he had.

Fans have commented on how the series tackles themes that reminded them of the group’s concepts since their debut.

Sky Castle follows the lives of four upper-class women whose materialistic desires often lead them to controlling their families to secure their success. However, all their plans are marred by destruction and deceit.

Sweet Home recommended by RM

BTS’ leader RM has also mentioned enjoying the apocalyptic drama in his VLives. His shout out had the series trending all over Twitter.

Sweet Home takes place in a world where monsters are lurking everywhere. Cha Hyun-soo and the other residents of his apartment building must fight to stay alive for as long as they can.

Kingdom recommended by Jimin

Jimin has shared with his fans that he enjoyed the period horror drama. He says that the series is quite scary and may not be for the faint-hearted.

Kingdom takes place during the Joseon Dynasty where a mysterious plague has overwhelmed the country. The dead are resurrected and begin attacking the living.

Crown Prince Lee Chang and his small group of supporters must investigate the King’s death and protect his people from the spreading plague.

Itaewon Class recommended by V

V recommended Itaewon Class to his fans and he has also contributed to the OST with the song “Sweet Night.” The series’ main character is played by one of V’s close friends, Park Seo-joon.

The story follows ex-convict Park Sae-ro-yi as he opens his own street bar. All the while, he’s still preoccupied with seeking revenge on the people behind his father’s death.
