Upon entering the second floor of Chef Jessie Rockwell Club, guests were greeted with an elegant summer-themed set-up in pastel hues. The colors matched the cheerful ambiance from the night of celebrating the success of Lifestyle Asia’s April issue, with cover personality Heart Ongpauco Escudero. The well-loved artist and fashion-enthusiast graced the event together with her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero.
In his welcoming remarks, Lifestyle Asia EIC Dong Ronquillo thanked the guests for coming to the event. He also shared how it was a pleasure to work with Heart for the April issue, focusing on life after the wedding. Dong also encouraged guests to use #RSVPLifestyleAsia when posting their favorite moments of the event.
Over dinner, guests sat comfortably on the beautiful seats of Shop Rent Gala around the luxurious tables of Formm Rentals. Atop these are the elaborate table centerpieces of Bella Banquets and elegant dinnerware of Casa Luxia. The menu and table cards of Neonovelties followed the summer theme with its floral prints. The table decor is certainly a visual feast for the guests as they indulged in Chef Jessie’s delectable courses.
Chef Jessie served a 5-course meal to the honored guests. Dinner started with Chef Jessie’s Ciabatta Bread, Rolls, Butter, and Special Dip. Next was the Heart of Palm in Herbed Crepe Pouch. Its fresh lettuce dressed in Tamarind vinaigrette tickled the palate. Pumpkin soup followed, enhanced with Curry for the rich flavor to implode in the mouth. For the main course, guests chose between the mouthwatering Grilled U.S. Beef Fillet Mignon ladled with Morel sauce and Pan Fried Fillet Norwegian Salmon in Tomato Artichoke Heart sauce. These two are served with fresh double-baked potato and freshly steamed asparagus spears.
The scrumptious dishes filled the guests but there was room for dessert. Sweet options were a Raspberry sorbet and a Demitasse of Chocolate-Coffee Crunch Souffle drizzled in smooth creme Anglaise. To pair off the variety of flavors, guests picked among Titania’s premium red and white wine bottles. Those who shied away from the liquors had their choice of coffee or tea.
After everyone’s appetite was satiated, it was time for Heart to extend her gratitude to all the guests and friends who supported the event. This was certainly a night for celebrating the hard work of the Lifestyle Asia team. This also acknowledged how collaboration with Heart can strengthen the different brands in the event such as Chef Jessie for the courses, Michael Ruiz for overall event styling, and ScentSmith Perfumery for the wonderful giveaways. These products are perfect to remember the beautiful moments of the fancy evening.
