It was a day of stylish cars, sparkling diamonds, fantastic food and drink, and dearly-missed friends.
As the world slowly and safely returns to in-person events, RSVP LifestyleAsia held its first gathering since 2019. Hosted in Chef Jessie at Makati’s Rockwell Club, the event treated its fully vaccinated to an intimate, social-distanced luncheon to celebrate togetherness and authentic connections.

Before admission to the private events space, attendees underwent a swab test by Avignon Clinic as a safety protocol. Upon entering, the decor of fresh white flowers, pillar candles, and a crisp tablescape by event designer Teddy Manuel greeted guests.
The restaurant’s special menu featured entrées of Chef Jessie Sincioco’s bread selection, Mesuln & Microgreens in Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing, fresh fruit, and Cream of Fresh Mushroom Soup. For the main course, guests chose Grilled Tanche of Norwegian Salmon in Berlinoise Sauce, or U.S. Beef Cheeks Bourguignon served with wild rice risotto. Last but not the least was dessert: the chef’s Mango Crepe Samurai.
Diamond-studded day
The guest list included actress Sarah Labhati and fashion designer Mark Bumgarner, who are both Lifestyle Asia cover personalities this month. In addition, Cris Roque, Roxanne Farillas, Monique Borja-Gonzalez, Agile Zamora, Agnes Huibonhoa, and Kai Lim made time to partake in the festivities.
In his speech, Lifestyle Asia editor-in-chief Dong Ronquillo thanked event partners Lexus and Tessera Jewelry founders Carl and Papat Fider for collaborating with the media brand to create a memorable day.
For added surprises, guests could try on precious jewelry pieces by Tessera and don them throughout the event. At the same time, the newest Lexus ES models were present at Rockwell Club’s driveway for attendees to experience.
It was a room filled with laughter, delicious food, and stunning ambiance, and that makes us look forward to the possibility of even more festive gatherings in the coming year.
