They call them “artist”—Favorite K-Pop Artist, that is.
The American Music Awards (AMAs) has recognized BTS with its inaugural “Favorite K-Pop Artist” award.
The K-pop boy group also won in the Favorite Pop Duo or Group category.
In total, BTS claimed two AMAs this year.
The group has since thanked the award-giving body as well as their fans for their latest accolade.
“We won Favorite Pop Duo or Group and Favorite K-Pop Artist at the AMAs tonight! Thank you for all the love and support #BTSARMY! Thank you #AMAs!”
In last year’s AMAs, the boys won Artist of the Year.
