Japan’s most popular tonkatsu restaurant Maisen opened its doors in Manila with an exclusive dinner hosted by Tonkatsu Maisen’s CEO Takeshi Okamoto and retail mogul Ben Chan. Manila’s A-listers and foodies gathered at Greenbelt 5 where they were treated to various tonkatsu dishes skillfully prepared by top chefs that carefully selected ingredients to respond to the discriminating taste of the guests.
The event also commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Japanese company and the launch of its venture with Ben Chan and the Suyen Corporation Group.
