Kathâ Pilipinas, together with Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE), will be hosting the workshop on October 10, 2026, giving Filipino creatives practical tools for navigating markets and building their careers.
For Filipino creatives, building a career involves more than making good work. Knowing how to price that work, assess opportunities, navigate income, and establish connections can be just as important. This October 10, 2026, Metrobank Art & Design Excellence (MADE) and Kathâ Pilipinas® are providing a platform for these conversations through Agos: A Skills Development Workshop and Business Toolkit for Filipino Creatives, a one-day workshop designed to help creatives strengthen the business side of their practice.
Now in its third year, the MADE x Kathâ Pilipinas collaboration continues its focus on practical skills for artists and creative practitioners. The latest session will take place at The Metropolitan Museum of Manila (The M) in BGC, bringing together discussions on market knowledge, fair value, investment literacy, professional opportunities, and building industry relationships.

The Idea Behind The “Agos” Workshop By Kathâ Pilipinas And MADE
Agos is an extension of Kathâ Pilipinas’ decade-long work with artists and creatives. Its programs have focused on fair market access, skills development, community building, and grassroots-to-policy work, with its current efforts also looking at data gathered from creatives’ lived experiences.
That research looks at where opportunities are reaching creatives, the barriers they encounter, how they navigate markets and income, and what support remains necessary. These findings now inform the organization’s learning programs, giving Agos a practical foundation rooted in the realities of creative work.
The workshop also reflects MADE’s broader support for Filipino artists beyond recognition. With a 42-year legacy of supporting local artistic talent, the program brings professional development into the same space as artistic excellence. Through its partnership with The M, conversations about creative careers will take place alongside TRAVERSE, a free exhibition featuring close to 100 works by young MADE awardees, finalists, and semifinalists, selected from more than 600 entries nationwide.
True to its name, which means “flow,” Agos looks at the pathways connecting creative practice with markets, resources, and opportunities. Participants will explore how to identify where their work fits, understand its value across different markets, make informed decisions about opportunities and investments, and build professional relationships that can support their careers.
“Agos: A Skills Development Workshop and Business Toolkit” for Filipino Creatives runs from 10 AM to 6 PM on October 10, with registration beginning at 9 AM at The Metropolitan Museum of Manila in BGC.
