This is an excerpt from Lifestyle Asia’s September 2023 Issue.

Dressed in their Sunday best, guests mingled and engaged in spirited conversations, adding a vibrant charm to the launch of Lifestyle Asia’s August fashion and lifestyle issue. The gathering honors the fantastic four who grace the cover of Lifestyle Asia. Sisters Kyle and Kerry Tinga, brothers Santino and Julio Ortega who are paving the way for a new breed of positive forces of change. The setting was Solaire’s famed Italian restaurant Finestra, adorned with a captivating display of Italian-inspired décor. At the heart of the celebration was a delightful Italian Sunday brunch curated by the hotel’s acclaimed chefs.

A Gastronomic Marvel

The culinary spread boasted an array of delectable antipasti, including artisanal cheeses, cured meats, an assortment of freshly baked bread, and a dessert buffet to die for. Each table had an outstanding Seafood Tower on ice. The tower includes an array of freshly shucked oysters, crab, mussels, poached prawns, lobster, clams and spanner crab served with cocktail sauce, whipped horseradish, raspberry mignonette, and lemon. Joy Wassmer of Solaire has also preordered Beef carpaccio with rocket arugula, parmesan, and button mushrooms. There’s also smoked salmon with capers, lemon, and parsley, and octopus carpaccio with olives, tomato, and herbs for the guests.

Guests were seen enjoying Finestra’s version of the classic eggs Benedict with house-made buttery hollandaise, mortadella, and focaccia. There were delectable pasta like pappardelle with tartufo, ravioli ricotta with spinach, and sumptuous pizzas from diavola made with spicy salami, tomato, and black olives to clam linguine. For mains, the choices range from mouth-watering USDA rib-eye, Tajima wagyu rump, Pacific sea bass, succulent baked lobster with cheese, lobster thermidor, or even a Japanese amberjack.
