Lifestyle Asia celebrated the launch of its style and expression issue with Bea Elizalde through an evening of cultural and artistic appreciation.
Art is an enriching part of our lives. To experience it and let it shape us for the better is a part of “the good life” that the refreshed Lifestyle Asia espouses. As an avenue for authenticity, connection, and deeper reflection, art is a luxury that transcends tangible value, which is why it lies at the heart of the brand’s newest experience, Art After Dark.

The event was a cultural gathering for Lifestyle Asia’s community, capturing the spirit of its fresh direction and celebrating its June “Style and Expression” issue, featuring first-time cover personality Bea Elizalde. The invitation-only gathering of 100 guests represented the Lifestyle Asia community, a dynamic cross-section of Manila’s emerging cultural and business establishments: young entrepreneurs, artists, collectors, and next-generation tastemakers. They are reflecting and redefining what luxury lifestyle means, where authentic access to conversations, culture, and community matter.

Chief of Editorial Content Kerry Tinga has always been a staunch believer in the essential role of art as both a statement and sanctuary, a binding force in the world that sharpens the mind and nourishes the spirit.
“Art has always been the ultimate form of personal expression,” shares Kerry Tinga, Chief of Editorial Content. “It’s about cultivating deeper connections with beauty, creativity, and the stories that define us. Tonight, we’ve created a space where art becomes a living experience for those who value such things.”

Bea embodies the modern, multi-hyphenated tastemaker who encapsulates true style: something that doesn’t follow trends, but rather, acts in service of one’s personal narrative.

Marching to the beat of her own drum, her practice spans a myriad of mediums and approaches—from dance to collage-making, each one constituting an essential part of her individuality.

Parabellum: Dance, Captured By Artu Nepomuceno
It’s only fitting that Lifestyle Asia’s first Art After Dark presented the eight-work collection of highly-acclaimed photographer Artu Nepomuceno, Parabellum, in its complete form for the first time. Photography is a young medium that continues to evolve, transforming the landscape of visual art through its blend of human perspective and technology.

Featuring the graceful movements of ballerinas within the Cultural Center of the Philippines’s walls, it’s a nod to the intersectional nature of art-making—how much richer works can be when we embrace the limitations, strengths, and potential of different practices and mediums.
An Evening Of Heightened Artistry
Lifestyle Asia’s strategic partnerships completed the overall experience through a blend of artistry, innovation, and premium experiences.
Select Gold Circle members from Security Bank Corporation graced the event, enjoying an array of exclusive treats and beverages in the comfort of the chic Collectors’ Lounge. Security Bank cardholders availed of exclusive discounts, one of the many ways the bank has shown its commitment to culture and nation-building through its support of artistic pursuits.

Lexus Philippines, whose commitment to craftsmanship and design excellence, matched the evening’s artistic theme perfectly. Upon arrival, guests’ first encounter with art and design was a vignette featuring the Lexus LBX—a vision of modern elegance that complemented the event’s artistic theme with an alluring pop of color. Meanwhile, cover star Bea Elizalde, editor Kerry Tinga, featured photographer Artu Nepomuceno, and select attendees were chauffeured in style using Lexus’s flagship models.

Culinary artistry was on full display thanks to award-winning Chef Chele Gonzalez, whose catering service, Chele Catering, provided an assortment of savory and sweet treats to guests. Dishes included roasted pork tacos with mango salsa, jamon Iberico risotto, and an assortment of bites. The menu was complemented by premium beverages crafted with Hendrick’s Gin, Glenfiddich, Monkey Shoulder, and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.

Enhancing the evening’s ambiance was a soundtrack with live performances by Nicole Tejedor, the acclaimed “Sax Diva,” followed by fresh beats from DJ Uno Lejano.
Guests also got to take home mementos from the evening, including personalized watercolor portraits by live artist Mariya Studio, as well as eco-friendly and nourishing lip balms from Dermtropics.

“This milestone confirms what we’ve always known,” noted Apples Aberin, Vice President for Lifestyle Media Brands under One Mega Group, Inc. “The next generation recognizes authenticity instinctively. Events like Art After Dark simply provide the natural gathering point for those who appreciate cultural substance. Since the relaunch that featured the ethereal and beautiful Rocio Zobel, we’ve seen a posse of like-minded, purposeful, and young movers grow and strengthen as we foster conversations, and produce pieces that are relevant and resonant.”
Whatever forms of art we choose to fill our lives with, Art After Dark is a testament to how expressing oneself authentically—be it through singular experiences, material pleasures, and creative passions—is today’s ultimate, contemporary luxury.
Looking Ahead
