Friends and supporters of Century Properties filled the Makati Shangri-La Hotel Rizal Ballroom in their designer best. It was a night when the real estate community celebrated 30 years of innovating in the business. Sincere thanks were expressed by Chairman Jose E.B Antonio that night for the support the community and clients had extended in the last decades. He also made special mention of Mr. Henry Sy, under whose Banco de Oro gave Century Properties its first loan which allowed them to build their first condominium project. The gesture paved the way for the first of many successes. He also mentioned the three persons who were most instrumental in his success: wife Hilda, his late mother Virginia and his father, Ramon Sr. The evening was made extra special when Hilda and the Antonio brothers led the crowd in a surprise birthday greeting for Antonio. The moment was marked with a 10-feet long cake lit by 100 candles. The 30 green ones were intended to celebrate the three decades of Century’s success in the business, and 70 to symbolize Antonio’s young years.
