End Of An Era In Fashion
Donatella Versace has been the face of the Versace brand since 1997, taking over as Chief Creative Officer after her brother’s tragic passing. For 29 years, she has been the brand’s creative force, catapulting it to global success.
“It has been the greatest honor of my life to carry on my brother Gianni’s legacy. He was the true genius, but I hope I have some of his spirit and tenacity. In my new role as Chief Brand Ambassador, I will remain Versace’s most passionate supporter. Versace is in my DNA and always in my heart,” Donatella said.
Stepping in as Chief Creative Officer at Versace is designer Dario Vitale. After graduating from Istituto Marangoni in 2006, Vitale began his career at Bottega Veneta before joining Miu Miu as a fashion designer. There, he rose through the ranks to become Designer Director for Ready-to-Wear and Brand Image Design Director.
Vitale is expected to bring a younger, fresher perspective to the brand. “I am truly honored to join Versace as the Chief Creative Officer and to be a part of this special and powerful fashion luxury House created by Gianni and Donatella,” he shared in a statement.
Iconic Tenure
Jonathan Anderson’s brilliant mind has transformed Loewe into the celebrated brand it is today. Known for his conceptual runway shows and out-of-the-box marketing, he has made Loewe one of the world’s most talked about fashion houses. Unfortunately, Anderson recently announced that he’ll be stepping away from Loewe. “I am truly excited to join the Gucci family. Interesting Entrance
The names Demna and Balenziaga have been inseparable since the designer joined the fashion house in 2015. Durning his tenure, he has redefined modern luxury by creating out-of-the-box, thought-provoking designs. Now entering a new chapter in his career, Demna will be joining Gucci as Artistic Director, starting in July 2025.
