Grand Hyatt Manila’s Garden Pavilion was awash with bright colors, bold and playful prints, and flowy fabrics. Guests celebrated Lifestyle Asia’s new era in style. We had the chance to speak with our cover star, Rocio Zobel, along with several guests about who—or what—they were wearing.
Cover Girl
Rocio Zobel, the cover girl of Lifestyle Asia’s April 2025 issue, stunned in a floral cotton set from Spanish brand Charo Ruiz Ibiza. The flowy fabric and delicate floral embellishments perfectly captured the spirit of the Refresh Issue—a new direction that reflects a free-spirited generation.

Details, Details, Details
Jacqui Dizon is no stranger to Lifestyle Asia events, being the daughter of renowned jeweler and former Editor-in-Chief Candy Dizon. While she admitted to forgetting who she was wearing, she did share that her jewelry was by Jul B. Dizon and that she carried a Rafe New York bag named after her mother.

Classic And Fun
One of the personalities featured in the inside pages of the new print issue is archival fashion collector Steffi Cua. At the event, she wore a Phoebe Philo-era Celine dress paired with Jonathan Anderson-era Loewe heels. She was accompanied by Julian Cua, who wore a playful Jacquemus button-up polo.

Sleek and Daring
Anna Bautista and Marga Preysler opted for a more daring take on tropical cocktail dressing. Anna’s Tres Bonita ensemble was perfect for the occasion—the sleek corset top paired beautifully with a colorful silk skirt. Meanwhile, Marga wore a brown dress from Reformation, featuring a high slit and side cut-outs that created a striking, sultry silhouette.

Floral Is So In
Jeline Eduardo and Sophia Solidum were seen wearing beautiful floral dresses. When asked, they both mentioned that they had borrowed their dresses from their mothers, Alice Eduardo and Melba Solidum. Although Sophia couldn’t remember where her mom had bought the dress, Jelene, on the other hand, stated that hers was from Escada.

Less Is More
Bianca Jimenez wore a chic pink dress that evening. Though unconfirmed, we overheard her mentioning that she was wearing her own creation. She has a brand called Ma. Collecta, which specializes in using locally sourced piña fabric for her designs.

A Family Affair
Maxine, Luigi, Niko, and Alia Hortaleza-Pumaren were also spotted at the launch of the new issue. Maxine wore a floral Rosanna Ocampo top, while Luigi sported a blue Marni button-down, and Alia donned a floral dress from & Other Stories.

Stunning Interpretation
While we couldn’t get details on every look, it was clear that guests put careful thought into their outfits, which captured the evening’s vibrant energy. From eye-catching colors to breezy summer styles, the fashion on display spoke volumes about the impeccable taste of those in attendance.
