The show’s six-course menu takes guests on a culinary trip across the regions visited by the legendary explorer through the Silk Road. The very entertaining 3D show projected onto the dining table is complimented by a unique gastronomic experience as diners engage in a five-sense spectacle, savoring tastes of the story along with its sights, sounds and aromas.

Marco Polo’s Journey features French seafood soup, Chaudière de Poisson, as the journey of Le Petit Chef from France begins. This is followed by char grilled lamb kofta, smoked eggplant mousse, hummus, tabbouleh, and pide bread as diners feast on Levant cuisine. This Arabian dish is an extremely popular culinary tradition in West Asian countries referred to as mezze, closely resembles the concept of small plates served as an appetizer.

The third course will delight in the glories of Indian spices, as Le Petit Chef together with Grand Hyatt Manila’s Chef Arum Kumar prepares butter chicken or prawn, tomato gravy, saffron rice, samosa chaat, tamarind and mint chutney and papadum. The next course is a sorbet with lemon, lime and mint as the tiny chef flew over the mountain tops in Nepal.

Le Petit Chef travels to China for the main course – braised sea bass in ginger, garlic and black bean sauce. For dessert, guests will savor more of the authentic ingredients that the little chef had hoarded from Arabia, India, and China as he presents three versions of the quintessentially French dessert, crème brûlée.
