TARA! Filipino Diner expands beyond its White Plains roots with an all-day menu made for BGC’s breakfast crowds, lunch breaks, and after-work gatherings.
TARA! Filipino Diner has opened its second branch at Avida Towers Turf in BGC, expanding its original White Plains concept with a wider menu that includes burgers, craft coffee, and cocktails. The new location welcomed diners on October 10, 2026 and operates daily from 7AM to 10 PM.
The expansion gives the Filipino diner a broader menu and longer reach across the day, with options for breakfast, lunch, merienda, dinner, and after-work drinks. While the White Plains branch established the restaurant’s take on familiar diner fare with Filipino flavors, the BGC outpost introduces new offerings designed to suit the neighborhood’s varied dining habits.

A Filipino Take On The Classic Diner
TARA! is focused on the idea of a brunch spot that feels familiar enough for regular visits while offering a playful take on Filipino food cultureCultureshared traditions, beliefs, values, customs, arts, and social practices that define the identity and way of life of a community, society, or nation.Go to Culture Glossary. The concept draws from classic American diner traditions, with dishes incorporating local flavors, references, and a sense of humor.
At the BGC branch, that approach applies to dishes such as the TARA! Longga Nachos, which combine garlic longganisa, cheese sauce, garlic aioli, and salsa over Jack ‘n Jill Tostillas; as well as The Manila Piña Burger, which pairs a beef patty with charred pineapple. Meanwhile, the Loko Moko and Signature Bowls offer heartier alternatives.

The menu also includes Lucky Me Popcorn, a playful nod to the Filipino instant noodle brand, alongside cocktails such as the Ube Colada and Calamansi Mojito. Coffee drinkers can order specialties including the Flat White Rabbit and Spanish Bread Latte. Classic dishes from the original White Plains branch are still available, including the Party Purple Pancake, The Big Brekky, and Belgian Champorado.
