Last month, the actor and the producer celebrated their union with a summer camp wedding in the heart of the Hudson Valley.
Actor Beanie Feldstein and producer Bonnie-Chance Roberts fell in love on a film set in London. Since their first meeting over Skype, the two grew closer together, with their relationship starting from colleagues and friends until it bloomed into love.

Their summer of 2018 was spent working on the film How to Build a Girl and gradually falling for each other. After filming the movie, the couple tended to a long distance relationship during the pandemic.
When they were finally reunited, Roberts knew exactly how she wanted to propose. “After so long apart, I felt like Beanie deserved a perfect moment that would feel out of time or space,” she said in an interview with Vogue.
“And so the proposal was a celebration of the long roads we had taken to find each other and to get to the moment of committing to marriage,” the producer continued. Almost two years later, the couple celebrated their wedding on May 19 to 20 at Cedar Lakes Estate.
Summer Camp Chic
Summer camp always had a special place in Feldstein’s heart. “It is our happy place together,” the actor shared. “I grew up going to summer camp for ten years, and my parents and both sets of my grandparents met at summer camp, so camp is a lineage of love through the generations of my family.
“Even though we met in London and fell in love on a film set, to get married at a camp was a truly beautiful emotional homecoming.”
For the wedding, Feldstein and Roberts had an all-women team of vendors and planners. Even the location is owned and run by two sisters. “It was very special for us as two creative women to work with such esteemed and talented women,” the couple said.
In keeping with summer camp traditions, the couple and their guests celebrated the weekend with s’mores, friendship bracelets, and other nostalgic and romantic elements. As for their fashion choices, Feldstein dreamed of wearing Gucci to her wedding.
At the time of their engagement, she was working with the luxury brand for its Love Parade campaign. It’s no surprise that Gucci said yes to making a dress for the actor, one that would take her breath away from first sight.
Roberts, on the other hand, wanted to wear a suit while still looking like a bride at her wedding. Also finely crafted by Gucci, it was, as Feldstein said, “absolutely everything we dreamed of and more. Stylish, whimsical, unexpected.”
The Jewish ceremony was intimate and emotional, as love surrounded the couple. “It was genuinely the most magical, awe-inspiring moment of our lives,” Feldstein shared.
The Stars Present On The Special Day
Sarah Paulson, Feldstein’s Impeachment: American Crime Story co-star and friend, was present with her partner Holland Taylor. Kaitlyn Dever, Feldstein’s co-star in Booksmart, also made it to the event, while Maroon 5’s Adam Levine attended with his wife Behati Prinsloo.
Jonah Hill, Feldstein’s brother, had to miss his sister’s wedding as he was welcoming his first baby to the world.
The couple’s close friend, Ben Platt (who starred in Pitch Perfect and Dear Evan Hansen), sang for their first dance as newlyweds. “We truly danced the night away in the barn—and then even more at the after-party in the treehouse,” the actor said.
To celebrate the start of Pride Month, Feldstein recently shared a snapshot of her and her new wife from their wedding day with the caption “happy pride month. You are my pride @bonnie.chance.”
