It’s their dream wardrobe.
The Gucci universe is blowing up with their new bottled cocktail, gaming academy, metaverse presence, kitchenware line, Adidas collaborations, and now a partnership with Harry Styles.
After wearing Gucci on a Vogue cover and the MET Gala, then appearing in their campaigns, all we can think is: it’s about time.
“Harry has an incredible sense of fashion,” creative director Alessandro Michele said in a statement.

“Observing his ability to combine items of clothing in a way that is out of the ordinary compared to the required standards of taste and common sense and the homogenization of appearance, I came to understand that the styling of a look is a generator of differences and powers, as are his reactions to the designs I have created for him, which he has always made his own; these reactions restore me with a rush of freedom every time.”
The two long-time friends are releasing the 25-look collection titled “Gucci HA HA HA,” which launches in October. It includes what Michele and Styles would describe as their “dream wardrobe,” with obvious influence from the seventies, which is also seen in Michele’s string of designs for Gucci.
Love for vintage
There are large overcoats, flared pants (something Styles repopularized), a leopard briefcase, a patchwork leather jacket, and white boots with red heart detail. If you’re thinking these are pieces you’d find in a vintage shop; you’re probably supposed to.
In fact, Michele made HA HA HA’s announcement at a Milan Vintage clothing store. “I love vintage shopping. I think that is really my place. Harry loves vintage too. We are crazy for vintage, both of us,” Michele said at the press conference.
Michele added that with Styles’ love for fashion, it would be “easy” to expand the collection or even more joint projects. “But it’s also serious,” he says about working with the singer. “It’s something that he really, really loves in a serious way. You know, like me.”
