Designer Gideon Hermosa brings his own personalized touch to every venue, crafting events that dreams are made of.

For 13 years, Gideon Hermosa has been designing venues fit for fairytales. From starting his first business in his small hometown in Pangasinan to setting up the House of Hermosa in Manila, he has been making a huge mark in the wedding industry, both locally and internationally.
Discovering His Path
Always a creative at heart, Gideon found his love for styling during his school days. “I grew up in a family of farmers and my love for nature is part of who I am,” the designer tells Lifestyle Asia.
To pursue this career, Gideon graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Even with his own events business, he had no idea how far it would go at first. But he persevered by learning the basics from friends in the industry.
While he still focused on school, he continued accepting commissions from close family and friends, not realizing that this would someday turn into a career he’d be immensely proud of.
“The growth didn’t stop there. It was when a magazine feature put me in the spotlight that I finally got a crack at doing event styling in Manila,” Gideon says. “My style of design slowly evolved and I took this chance to break out of the mold and do more things outside the box.”
Aside from weddings, the stylist was also hired to work on television shows, exposing him to a wider audience and even allowing him to design his first celebrity wedding.
“Weddings will always be at the core of my design pursuits. It just gives me a different kind of fulfillment creating a beautiful space for two people in love!”
A Visionary In Design
Known for his curated maximalism design approach, through experience and experimentation, Gideon has been able to craft events that “always provide a tasteful, elegant result that is harmonious and balanced.”
Making use of fabrics, wood, metals, and other natural materials especially flowers, the designer and his team transform venues from floor to ceiling.
“I’m blessed that a lot of my clients give me the freedom to creatively design their special days, but I always account for what they want. And with that, I’m sure I will always find a way to give my #Gideonized touch,” the designer shares.
