Margarita Signature Caterer Introduces “Select” For Every Kind Of Gathering

The new offering, Select, features curated Filipino, Asian, Western, and Italian menus for corporate events, intimate gatherings, and celebrations.

Margarita Signature Caterer has introduced Select, a new collection of curated catering packages for corporate events, intimate gatherings, birthdays, and other celebrations. Available as Cocktails, Heavy Cocktails, or Buffet packages, it features Filipino, Asian, Western, and Italian menus, including familiar favorites from CIBO.

Founded by the late chef and restaurateur Margarita Forés, Margarita Signature Caterer has built its name across almost four decades through personalized menus and close attention to each occasion. In 2025, the next generation of the family stepped forward to lead the wider group, with Margarita’s son Amado Forés becoming President and CEO of CIBO and her niece Mercedes Forés taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer of CIBO and Margarita Signature Caterer.

Mercedes formally introduced Select at a launch attended by event coordinators, agencies, corporate partners, and longtime collaborators of the catering company. The new offering continues the standards established by Margarita while providing a simpler way to plan gatherings.

“Select is a new way to work with us, built for a different kind of occasion. Curated buffet spreads and pass-arounds across Filipino, Asian, Western, and Italian menus with options that make planning simple, but never limited,” shared Forés. “But easier planning does not mean a different kitchen, or a different standard. It’s the same quality of ingredients. The same attention to detail. The same level of service you’ve always known from us.”

What Margarita Signature Caterer Select Brings To The Table

Select begins with three service formats. Cocktails includes five pass-arounds and dessert, while Heavy Cocktails adds a starch for a fuller standing spread. The Buffet package is designed for seated gatherings, with three pass-arounds, a salad, two starches, two mains, and two desserts. Each format also includes a welcome drink.

Clients can choose among Filipino, Asian, Western, and Italian menus. Packages start at ₱1,250 per guest for Cocktails, ₱1,800 for Heavy Cocktails, and ₱2,500 for Buffet, with minimum bookings applying.

The Filipino Menu

The Filipino menu draws from familiar local flavors, with selections suited to standing events and seated celebrations.

The welcome drink is Pandan Iced Tea. Pass-around options include Bicol Laing Crostini, Tortang Talong Lumpia, Palabok Chicharon Curls, Bicol Express Cups, Grilled Mais Dip, and Ilonggo Chorizo Croquetas. Dessert options include Cebu Broas with Salted Egg-Dulce de Leche and Mango and Nata de Coco Pudding.

For those opting for Heavy Cocktails, the available starches are Pork Belly Pancit, Garlic Rice, and Steamed Rice.

For those opting for the full Buffet, the salad is Pinoy Ensalada, while main options include Chicken Inasal Skewers with Kare-Kare Satay Sauce, Garlic Butter Roast Pork Ribs, and River Cobbler “Bistek Tagalog.”

The Asian Menu

The Asian menu brings together fresh, savory, and comforting dishes inspired by flavors from across the region.

The welcome drink is Thai Lime Tea. Pass-around options include Bonito and Anchovy Mousse on Crostini, Sweet Chili River Shrimp Wonton Cups, Salmon Teriyaki Mousse with Grissini, Prawn Toasts, Stir-Fried Tofu Krapao on a Rice Cracker Crisp, and Fresh Thai Spring Rolls. Dessert options include Miso Caramel Vanilla Panna Cotta and Mochi Donut.

For those opting for Heavy Cocktails, the available starches are Pad Thai, Udon Carbonara, Chahan, and Bagoong Fried Rice.

For those opting for the full Buffet, salad options include Thai Green Mango and Pomelo Salad and Wakame and Toasted Sesame Salad. Mains include Roast Beef Belly Gyudon, Miso Béchamel Baked Cobbler with Cauliflower, and Boneless Chicken Katsu with a choice of Green Curry, Laksa, or Soy Sesame Sauce.

The Western Menu

The Western menu offers familiar, crowd-friendly dishes for working lunches, parties, and other gatherings.

Welcome drinks include Calamansi, Peach, and Mint Iced Tea. Pass-around options include Guacamole Tostada, Grilled Cheese Triangles with Homemade Tomato Jam, French Onion Dip, Carnitas Vol-au-Vent, and Mushroom Cream Cheese Cups. Dessert options include Churritos with Chocolate Sauce and Cheesecake Squares with Olive Oil.

For those opting for Heavy Cocktails, the available starches and sides are Baked Potato Gratin and Butter-Glazed Vegetables.

For those opting for the full Buffet, the salad is Caesar Salad. Main options include Six-Hour Braised Roast Beef with Au Jus, Roasted Pesto Cream Cobbler, and Grilled Chicken with Chimichurri.

The Italian Menu

The Italian menu brings together familiar CIBO favorites, with options for events of different formats and sizes.

Welcome drinks include Classic, Peach, and Mint Iced Tea. Pass-around options include Arancini, Truffle Honey Ricotta Dip, Potato Chips, Spinach Dip, Mushroom Dip, Chicken Liver Pâté Dip, and Mozzarella Sticks. Dessert options include Bomboloni, Maritozzo, and Tiramisù Croccante.

For heavier spreads, guests can choose from pasta dishes such as Farfalle alla Genovese, Spaghettini Tartufata, Penne al Telefono, Bolognese alla con Panna, Lasagna Classico, Linguine alla Ghiotta, and Spaghettini alla Romana. Pizza options include Prosciutto di Parma, Salamino Piccante, Margherita, Five Cheese, Gamberetti, Napoletana, and Parmigiana.

For those opting for the full Buffet, salad options include Insalata Pacifica, Insalata di Mare, Insalata del Sole, Insalata Nizzarda, and Insalata Verdure. Main options include Fried Chicken Wings, Roast Pork Ribs, Roasted Chicken, and Filetto Pomodoro.
