The architects Evangelista collaborated with took inspiration from her fashion sense.
Through her Instagram reels and Youtube vlogs, we know how Heart Evangelista approaches dressing up, whether it be for Paris Fashion Week or a trip to Balesin. But how would the multi-hyphenate tackle sprucing up a home?
The Love Marie Designs with RLC Residences project answers just that with Evangelista’s latest investment, a one-bedroom condo unit at Pasig’s The Sapphire Bloc. According to the global fashion star, a property is a good investment, especially when putting it up for lease.

Evangelista worked with Arch. Geewel Cabungcal-Fuster and Chris and Arch. Astrid Bello of firm PBELL + A.ID. to create a space that caters to her partnership-heavy career and artistic lifestyle.
“Collaborating with Heart has been a fun and fulfilling journey. We are grateful to her for putting in the spotlight the real beauty of RLC Residences and how our unit layouts and deliverables can be the perfect canvas for design and creativity,” said Karen Cesario, RLC Residences marketing head, and chief integration officer.
Evangelista opted to convert the bedroom to an office during conversations with the architects, as she’d rather have a larger working space. As a result, her office provides more areas for displaying art, receiving guests, and even a mantle to house seasonal decor.
Fashion is art
In the design process, Arch. Astrid was inspired by watching various interviews with Evangelista. In a video by Harper’s Bazaar, the actress said clothes were “works of art” and Arch. Astrid created a space to display clothing as part of the home’s furnishing.
“This is such a good idea because sometimes you don’t want to constrict yourself to just a cabinet. You can display your clothes anywhere because they are artworks,” Evangelista reiterated in the video documenting the design journey.
The designers worked around how the 37-year-old approaches fashion. Arch. Astrid noted how Evangelista looks equally great in a voluminous gown or a tailored suit. “So that’s how we thought about the process because you can be equally beautiful in different personalities and in the different ways you express your fashion sense,” the architect said.
After the interior design process that took a few months, Evangelista says making a space a home takes time. “It’s a story, book, or chapter that you build. Don’t be pressured to have everything all at once,” she says.
