Haena S. Foo started as a live seller but has now launched her first flagship store, Jhaena Jewels.
For Haena S. Foo, whatever she has now and whoever she is now, she owes to her mother. Her recent milestone became her first-ever flagship store, Jhaena Jewels, which launched on February 10. Who would have thought that a live-selling endeavor would turn into a full-fledged business?
Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray became the star-studded event’s guest of honor, while Bituin Escalante delivered melodious performances throughout the night.

Jhaena Jewels’ partnership program
The program started with two models showing the products that Jhaena Jewels currently has on offer. Afterwards, the host introduced Gray, the honorary guest of the evening and one of the brand ambassadors.
“This is an incredible moment,” Gray said as she addressed the crowd. “I met Miss Hae and Justin [Haena’s husband] last year. I had the opportunity to explore the building when it was just bare bones. Seeing it come to life is a testament to the vision that Miss Hae and Justin had for Jhaena Jewels.”
She acknowledged the brand’s jewelry pieces as well, saying that they give their owners a sense of pride of “owning luxury pieces.”
“I’m very proud to be at the launch of the flagship store of Jhaena Jewels,” she continued. “A huge congratulations to Miss Hae, Justin, and the whole team.”
Jhaena Jewels introduced their partnership program during the event, which targets aspiring entrepreneurs. It offers opportunities for them through their affiliate marketing model, where people can promote the brand. Interested individuals may also resell their jewelries through live selling at their flagship store, where dedicated rooms for this purpose are allotted for resellers.
“Business to business (B2B) partners can utilize a fully-furnished, air-conditioned room with a Wi-Fi network to conduct live selling in a more professional space,” Jhaena Jewels said.
“Living in faith”
Sia-Foo said she was touched that her guest of honor, Gray, graced the event with her presence and it meant a lot to her. She greeted her guests with warmth and gratitude as most of the attendees were influencers and media personnel who traveled from Manila and Batangas.
The flagship store of Jhaena Jewels is located in Olongapo City. Sia-Foo said they chose the location because they grew up in the city and wanted to give back to its community. She mentioned the team is planning to branch out in Manila, and eventually, globally.
She told the guests a brief history on how Jhaena Jewels came to life. The businesswoman chronicled that the pandemic proved to be tough to the world and they were no strangers to the struggle. “Instead of living in fear, we lived in faith,” she continued. She expressed that without her family, friends, and the inspiration her mother provided her, she wouldn’t be where she is today.
The night was filled with sumptuous food and flowing drinks as well as performances from Escalante.
Valuable life lessons
Sia-Foo revealed during the launch that her brand is looking into affiliates and partnership programs. Her goal is to help as many people as she can so they can build their legacy and brand. “I’m not into this for the profits, but more on the fact that we could help give people livelihoods. Anyone can achieve their dreams and become another brand like Jhaena Jewels through us.”
In an exclusive interview with Lifestyle Asia, Sia-Foo revealed a valuable lesson she learned from her parents is one should start from the ground. “Start from the very first step even if you have an abundance of the resources you need,” she elaborated. “Success hits differently if you work really hard on your goals.”
Sia-Foo added her mom is the influence behind her desire to give back. “Never forget to look back to the people who support, love, and trust you,” she remarked.
