In an exclusive interview with Lifestyle Asia, Dennis Lustico, Lucille Dizon, Katrina Holigores, Macky Fäh, Boboy Consunji, and Gretchen Choa revealed their plans for Christmas this year. From winding down in the province to cooking a hearty dinner—these holiday plans are intentionally heartfelt.
Dennis Lustico
I’m looking forward to spending a restful and chill holiday in my hometown in Northern Samar and sharing the Christmas celebration with family, most especially with my mother dearest.
Lucille Dizon
We usually celebrate Christmas by attending Mass as a tradition to give thanks for all our blessings. Afterward, we spend time with family at home to mark the occasion. Since it also happens to be my husband’s birthday, we make the day even more special by inviting friends over to celebrate together.
Katrina Holigores
Mass and Noche Buena dinner with my family at one of my uncle’s houses and then back home after midnight to open gifts.
Macky Fäh
This year is special, as my family from the US/Mexico and my husband’s family from Europe will all be in the Philippines for the holidays. We will celebrate with lots of food and new memories.
Boboy Consunji
I’m starting off Christmas by cooking and baking for my family at home in Manila. Then, we’re all heading to Nagoya for a winter holiday, all 10 of us. It’ll be my first time there, and I can’t wait to greet the New Year while freezing in Takayama and Shirakawa. It’ll be a Christmas full of cozy moments and breathtaking sights.
Gretchen Choa
My family and I will be in Tokyo to celebrate Christmas. Looking forward to spending time with everyone in much cooler weather, and great food. Japan is always great and being there for the holidays with my entire family makes it so much more special.
Joanna Preysler
As always, Christmas is for family. We spend Christmas Eve with the Francisco family, that’s Raul’s side, at Randy & Irene’s home. That has been our tradition.
On the 25th, we have a quiet morning at home with the kids and our doggies, opening our presents, snacking, and hanging out. By 1 p.m., we head out to my side of the family for our Christmas lunch. It’s the same every year, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
