Edsa Shangri-La, Manila is offering specialty mooncakes in authentic varieties and innovative local flavors. This year, the choices include White Lotus, Red Bean, Mixed Nuts, Durian, Black Sesame, and Green Tea.
The mooncakes are available in single servings or in sets which will be packaged in artfully adorned gift boxes. Shangri-La’s Mooncake Collection is available for pre-order starting July 17, 2023 with pick-up from August 8 to September 29, 2023.

Hilton Manila’s Moonlight Bloom Mooncakes
Hilton Manila’s Traditional Mooncake Set curated by Chef Xu Qiao Yuan showcases flavors such as White Lotus, Mixed Nuts with Ham, Black Sesame with Salted Egg, Milk Custard, Red Dates with Walnut, and Coconut.
Meanwhile, the unique Snow Skinned Mooncake Set comes in delicate flavors that are encased in a velvety, snow-like exterior. The flavors include Matcha, Red Bean Paste, White Lotus with Osmanthus, Durian, Chocolate Rum, and Cranberry.
If you want to go above and beyond, the Luxury Set allows you to choose from the previous sets and also includes a tea-making set along with Tie Guan Yin tea. Moonlight Bloom’s promotional period runs until September 29.

The Peninsula Manila’s Signature Mooncakes
The Peninsula’s mooncakes come all the way from Hong Kong, which date back from 1986. Its signature flavors include Egg Custard and Lotus Seed paste with egg yolk encapsulated in mini mooncakes.
The Chinese delicacies are made with a sweet dense filling and covered by a thin soft pastry skin. They’re also perfect for pairing with some traditional tea.
