Luckett and Robertson left Destiny’s Child in 2000. Williams joined after being a substitute alongside Farrah Franklin, who left after five months. Williams completed the three-member girl group we all know and love: she, Beyoncé, and Rowland.
Lizzo, Vanessa and Natalia Bryant, Chloe and Halle Bailey, Tia Mowry, Tyler Perry, Kris Jenner, and Beyoncé’s parents, Tina Knowles-Lawson and Mathew Knowles, highlighted their ‘cozy opulence’ themed ensembles on the red carpet, among others.
Dresscode: cozy opulence
Today.com reported that the attendees were given a time and a dress code prior to the Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé premiere. Cozy opulence became the highlight of the singer’s exclusive showing on November 25.
Here are some of the celebrities who donned their comfy yet sophisticated looks for Queen Bey’s concert film premiere:
Cozy means comfortable and relaxing but Beyoncé’s song “Cozy” from her album Renaissance meant differently. The singer sang about a strong woman who survived the odds and is comfortable with her skin.
A “vision in Versace”
The singer-superstar made an enchanting entrance donning an elegant and metallic dress from Versace. Her long, silver hair complemented the look.
Donatella Versace posted a photo of Beyoncé on Instagram where she flaunted her mesmerizing, cozy opulence look.
The fashion designer and businesswoman said that the singer was a “vision in Versace” and that she can’t wait to see the film.
“You are unique. One of one, the number one, the only one!!!” She said on the post.
Billboard reported that the 32-time Grammy winner wrote, executive produced, and co-directed the concert film. A major screening in London on November 30 follows the Los Angeles premiere.
