ALPHA: In Conversation With Hindy Weber

By

ALPHA is dedicated to figures who have shaped industries, built communities, and championed meaningful causes. For this edition, designer, farmer, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate Hindy Weber answers our quick-fire questions.

Lifestyle Asia introduces its September 2026 ALPHA, spotlighting individuals whose work reflects the many forms a life of purpose can take. For Hindy Weber, the pursuits that comprise such a life span fashion, farming, entrepreneurship, wellness, and education, fields that may seem unrelated at first glance, yet are connected by a single belief: that beauty, health, and sustainability are not mutually exclusive categories, but interconnected parts of a whole that build upon each other.

Enamored with fashion from a young age, Hindy studied Communication Arts at Ateneo de Manila University before earning a fashion degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She spent nearly two decades designing private labels, bridalwear, and evening gowns before stepping away from the industry in 2011. Looking to reconnect with nature while raising her growing family, she immersed herself in biodynamic farming, Waldorf education, and a more holistic way of living.

What began as a backyard garden— born from a young mother’s desire to feed her children food she could truly trust—eventually grew into Holy Carabao Holistic Farms, now one of Manila’s leading distributors of organic produce and a champion of holistic agriculture through farm tours and educational workshops.

Years later, fashion found Hindy again, this time on her own terms, through Hindy Weber Every.day, an ethical label created in response to the excesses of fast fashion. Whether she’s speaking about regenerative farming, sustainable clothing, or planning country festivals, Hindy returns to the same idea: each choice we make has an impact on both ourselves and the world around us. Ask her about it, though, and she’s just as likely to bring up a pig farm in Bath or the works of Rudolf Steiner.
