The Philippine national tennis team heading to Aichi-Nagoya features a mix of established national-team veterans and some of the country’s most promising young players. Leading the squad is Alex Eala, who enters the 2026 Asian Games following a breakthrough season on the international circuit. Currently ranked World No. 18 by the WTA, Eala will compete in both women’s singles and women’s doubles, marking another major international appearance for the 21-year-old Filipina.
