The lavish penthouse owned by one of the show’s characters is an actual triplex apartment located in New York’s Upper East Side—and it’s currently for sale.
Ever wondered what it would be like to be one of the characters from HBO’s dark comedy-drama Succession? Well, now might be your chance, as the apartment featured in episode four of the show’s final season is now selling for $29 million.
Owned by the ambitious Kendall Roy (played by Jeremy Strong)—one of the wealthy Roy family’s children fighting for control over their father’s lucrative media conglomerate—the expansive and sunlit apartment is located on 180 East 88th Street in New York City.

The large space is nestled within Manhattan’s tallest tower at the north of 72nd Street, and measures 5,508 square feet. On top of having an additional 3,500 square feet of outdoor space throughout its three floors, it boasts high ceilings, panoramic views, five bedrooms, a sculptural spiral staircase, a private elevator, and two living room spaces, among many other features included in its official listing on StreetEasy.
The listing also described the apartment as having a “pre-war style inspired detailing” that was “refreshed to meet modern luxury expectations.”
Besides the luxe features of the penthouse itself, the building it’s situated in also offers a 24/7 doorman and eight floors worth of amenities—including a fitness center, football pitch, game room, and catering kitchen.
Living the Dream
This isn’t the first time a beautiful abode from Succession has been put up for sale. The two-story penthouse of Kendall’s brother, Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin), is also on the market for $38 million.
Adding to that is the 6,711 square feet complex of Kendall’s ex-wife Rava (Natalie Gold), which was sold for $23.3 million in 2021. The grand Hamptons home owned by billionaire investor Josh Aaronson (Adrien Brody) was also sold for $45 million in the same year.
“It’s amazing to see your work over many years on a show that people get to see around the world,” shared Joe McMillan, the CEO of 180 East 88th Street’s developer (DDG) and a fan of Succession, with CNBC Make It. “The building’s going to outlast you and to get to see it appreciated and inspire others is very gratifying.”
