The exhibit, created by Audrey Hepburn’s son, will celebrate the humanitarian’s 90th birthday anniversary.
Audrey Hepburn’s son and only granddaughter joined Vogue Philippines for a Mystery Brunch for the opening of the Intimate Audrey exhibition.
Usually a dinner event, this year’s installment took place in the morning to pay homage to Hepburn’s iconic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

The Hub at Shangri-La, The Fort welcomed a diverse gathering of people as well as the guests of honor, Sean Hepburn Ferrer and Emma Ferrer.
“This year is an important anniversary—it’s been 70 years since she was discovered, or the release of Roman Holiday for which she received an Academy Award,” Hepburn Ferrer shared. “It’s also a bittersweet anniversary because it’s been 30 years since we were last together.”
Hepburn was a devoted advocate for children’s rights and was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 1989. Continuing her legacy, her granddaughter Ferrer is just as passionate about the organization’s work.
What to expect at the Intimate Audrey exhibit
Hepburn Ferrer also wrote the book Audrey Hepburn: An Elegant Spirit years after his mother died in 1993. Like the book, the upcoming exhibit includes a lifetime of collected photographs and letters.
Some of Hepburn’s dresses, accessories, and fashion drawings will also be on display, accompanied by film clips. Most of these materials are from the family’s personal archive.
As a unique addition, Intimate Audrey in Manila will also feature an exclusive tribute called “AUDREY: An Homage from Filipino Fashion.” Highlighting the works of the Philippines’ most celebrated designers, each piece in the section was inspired by aspects of Hepburn’s life and films.
It includes works and pieces from Pepito Albert, Ivar Aseron, Vic Barba, Mike Dela Rosa, JC Buendia, Len Cabili, Auggie Cordero, Rhett Eala, Jun Escario, Ben Farrales, Cesar Gaupo, Rajo Laurel, Jojie Lloren, Dennis Lustico, Randy Ortiz, Frederick Peralta, Puey Quiñones, Patrice Ramos-Diaz, Philip Rodriguez, Cary Santiago as well as National Artists Salvacion Lim-Higgins and Ramon Valera.
The Intimate Audrey exhibition will be running from August 1 to October 29, 2023 at S Maison in Conrad Manila. Hours will be from 10 AM to 8:30 PM on weekdays and 10 AM to 10 PM on weekends. All tickets will be available via SM Tickets.
