By

FêtePH2026, the 32nd edition of Fête de la Musique Philippines, turned Ayala Triangle Gardens into a massive open-air celebration, drawing thousands for a night of live music, cultural exchange, and community.

For one night, Ayala Triangle Gardens became the center of the country’s music scene. On June 20, 2026, thousands of music fans gathered in Makati for the Main Stage of Fête de la Musique Philippines 2026, marking the official highlight of the festival’s 32nd edition (FêtePH2026). Held alongside the Makati Street Meet and Makati City Fiesta, the free concert brought together artists, audiences, and communities in a celebration that reflected this year’s theme, For the People, By the People.

Co-presented by Alliance Française de Manille, Funkybeat Entertainment, and the Embassy of France to the Philippines, the event showcased a lineup that crossed generations, genres, and borders. Throughout the evening, festival-goers filled the park to watch some of the country’s most recognizable acts alongside international performers, creating an atmosphere that felt both local and global.

A Night Of Standout Performances

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening was the return of Radioactive Sago Project. The legendary jazz-rock and spoken-word collective took the stage for a rare live performance following an extended hiatus, drawing enthusiastic reactions from longtime fans. The energy continued with performances from Lola Amour, whose set turned the venue into a massive sing-along, while Morobeats brought hip-hop to the forefront with a high-energy showcase of local rap talent. Indie favorites fitterkarma and Nameless Kids also delivered crowd-pleasing sets, highlighting the breadth of today’s Filipino music scene.

Adding another dimension to the program were international artists Meule and Héloïse La Harpe. The French krautrock trio introduced audiences to their hypnotic blend of analog sounds and psychedelia, while the French-Vietnamese harpist offered a contrasting performance centered on contemporary strings and atmospheric compositions. Meanwhile, The Jewelmer Jazz Band rounded out the evening with a set that brought jazz into the spotlight.

Across Paseo de Roxas, the Taste of France French Market attracted its own crowd, offering French food, artisanal products, and cultural experiences to visitors throughout the weekend.

The Celebration Continues Across the Philippines

While the Main Stage has concluded, FêtePH2026 is still underway. On June 26, Makati’s Pocket Stages will take over streets, bars, and creative spaces across the city, offering genre-focused performances ranging from indie and punk to jazz, house, and dream pop.

Beyond Metro Manila, the festival continues through June 28 with 23 NCR stages and 66 destination stages across 33 provinces, bringing live music to communities throughout the country. The celebration will culminate on June 29 with a closing performance by jazz duo Project Yazz at the Long Bar in Raffles Makati.

More than three decades since it first arrived in the Philippines, Fête de la Musique continues to prove that music remains one of the country’s most accessible and unifying cultural experiences: free, open to all, and shared by communities across the archipelago.
