The GQ Philippines launch unveiled its first three covers during an evening at the Manila Marriott Hotel. The launch happened on September 12, 2026, gathering personalities from fashion, entertainment, business, sports, music, and the creative industries to mark the magazine’s arrival in the country.

Archie G. Carrasco, chairman and CEO of AGC Power Holdings Corp., opened the program with welcoming remarks. Amy Mangino, Condé Nast executive director for strategic content initiatives, also addressed guests during the evening.
“Today, men can be powerful and vulnerable. Ambitious and grounded. Global in perspective, while remaining deeply proud of where they come from,” Carrasco said. “That is the world GQ Philippines intends to capture.”

GQ Philippines Reveals Its Inaugural Covers
The GQ Philippines launch culminated in the reveal of the magazine’s first three covers, featuring basketball player Jordan Clarkson, actor and musician Darren Criss, and restaurateur and content creator Erwan Heussaff.

Criss and Heussaff attended the celebration, while Clarkson was overseas for NBA training. They were joined by guests including Anne Curtis-Smith, Nadine Lustre, Richard Gutierrez, and Barbie Imperial, alongside figures from the country’s corporate and creative communities.
As the newest edition in the international GQ network, GQ Philippines will cover fashion, culture, entertainment, and design through a Filipino perspective. Its editorial direction moves beyond a single idea of masculinity, looking instead at how contemporary Filipino men dress, work, create, lead, and live.
