Gone are the days when internet creators were simply known for going viral. Now, they’re becoming some of the most sought-after global ambassadors, sitting in the front row of fashion shows, and even setting up their own million-dollar brands.
Partnering with creator marketing agency Influential, Forbes has created a list of the top 50 fashion creators. These are the personalities who have harnessed their millions of followers to influence the world of fashion.

YouTube Darlings
At the top of the list is Emma Chamberlain, who found success after posting videos of her day-to-day life on YouTube. At the time, her style of content was quirky and innovative, inspiring plenty of others to follow in her footsteps.
Now, she has worked with some of the top luxury brands in the world, including Louis Vuitton and Cartier. She has also been featured in several fashion magazines and was Vogue’s Met Gala red carpet host. Lately she has been keeping busy with her company, Chamberlain Coffee, and her podcast, Anything Goes.
At number two, Nikkie de Jager or NikkieTutorials grew her following through her makeup tutorial videos. Since then, the Dutch creator has amassed more followers than the entire population of the Netherlands itself.
She has featured celebrities such as Idris Elba, Lady Gaga, and Selena Gomez in her videos and has worked with brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Tommy Hilfiger, and Hugo Boss.
Along with NikkieTutorials, at number six, Zoe Sugg (Zoella) was also one of the pioneering YouTube beauty gurus. Sixteen years ago, she opened her channel to share her nighttime pamper routine and hairstyle tutorials. Now she’s a published author who has also launched several collaboration lines.
Following Zoella at number seven, Bretman Rock first went viral on the short-lived app Vine then gained millions more followers on YouTube through his comedic makeup tutorials. The Hawaii-based Filipino American creator has gone on to become the first gay man on the cover of Vogue Philippines and Playboy.
TikTok Stars
Moving on to a much younger platform, TikTok has given rise to some of the most popular people in the world. At number four in the list, Charli D’Amelio has the most followers on the app. She has endorsed brands such as Prada and Skims and has even debuted her own fragrance, Born Dreamer.
Her sister, Dixie D’Amelio, is also in the list at number 15. The younger D’Amelio has partnered with luxury brands such as Valentino, Burberry, and Ralph Lauren in front of over 90 million social media fans.
Following Charli D’Amelio, at number five, Madison Beer has gone from TikTok stardom to mainstream fame, garnering millions of monthly listeners on Spotify. On the fashion side, she has worked with Forever 21, Adidas, and Nars cosmetics.
Instagram And Beyond
In 2015, pop star Justin Bieber was responsible for Cindy Kimberly’s rise to fame when he posted an image of her on his Instagram account.
Since then, she’s been on the covers of Sports Illustrated and Cosmopolitan and modeled for Mirror Palais, Yeezy, and Phillip Plein. The Spain-based model has also launched her own apparel line this year called LOBA by Cindy Kimberly. She’s now at number eight on the Forbes list.
At number 10, Sofia Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie and sister to reality star Nicole, became known for her “quiet luxury” style. Her wedding photos especially garnered plenty of attention because of her impeccable fashion.
