Fashion Week Asia Day 3: WISHARAWISH Serves Up A “Fruit Salad” Collection

By

Thai designer WISHARAWISH presents a playfully eclectic mix of handmade fabrics, versatile silhouettes, and elevated everyday dressing at Fashion Week Asia 2026.

Day 3 of Asia opened with a collection as delightful as its name suggests. Thai designer Wisharawish Akarasantisook presented the collection Salade de Fruits from his eponymous label, WISHARAWISH, on the runway of Palacio de Memoria. The fruit salad-inspired collection featured an assortment of playfully eclectic textures, silhouettes, and fabric treatments. Much like the dessert itself, each look had its own character, the collection moving between easy, everyday pieces and more elaborate designs, which gave the audience plenty to take in. There was a certain ease to the clothes, too: wearable and versatile, each piece possessed an elevated quality, proving that everyday dressing can be just as considered as occasionwear.

For WISHARAWISH, A Garment’s Ingredients Make The Perfect Salade De Fruits

The palette of gray, white, silver, and black silk gave the collection a cohesive thread, allowing the varied textures and silhouettes to stand out. While the fruit salad concept invited a sense of fun, the craftsmanship gave the pieces their depth. Handmade fabrics served as the collection’s main feature, with WISHARAWISH prioritizing material development before the finished garment. “I always believe that a collection has to come from good ingredients, and the ingredient is the fabric,” the designer tells Lifestyle Asia. “This time, I decided from the beginning to make the fabric first, then make the collection. I hope it will be sweet and everyone is going to love it.”

Primarily a menswear collection, Salade de Fruits also included pieces that women could wear, widening its appeal beyond a single wardrobe. The range was equally varied in function, spanning simple separates, partywear, pajama-inspired looks, and sportswear. For WISHARAWISH, giving the audience options was part of the point.

“There are a lot of choices for the audience,” he shares. “Some pieces are simple, some showcase highly skilled craftsmanship, and there is partywear, pajama-inspired dressing, and sportswear. There is a lot to choose from.”

Looking ahead at what he wants to achieve in future collections, the designer tells us, “I hope the next step will be more relaxed and more fun, with more emphasis on showing the beauty of the body, more lightness, and more of a beach vibe.”

With Salade de Fruits, WISHARAWISH offered a refreshing start to Day 3 of Fashion Week Asia, balancing the pleasures of dressing up with the ease of clothes made to be worn.
