The Soul of Dubai
The best way to explore a city unfamiliar to you is to learn about its culture and heritage. Visiting museums is one way to do it but you would get a more authentic experience in taking a casual stroll around the neighborhood. Al Fahidi is among Dubai’s historical town where heritage establishments littered the area. One of which is the three fabled Old Watchtowers used until 1896 to spot the town’s invaders. Past the watchtowers is the Old Souk with a series of shops for apparel. Among these are coats, shirts, jackets, shawls, and slippers in vibrant patterns and designs. You will see a lot of kandura or loose, ankle-length robes for men in the shops. After shopping for garments, you can opt to take an abra or a motorized wooden boat that can take you to other wonderful places in Dubai.

Beyond the wildest dreams
Okavango Delta lives up to its title as one of UNESCO’s World Heritage site. With lush grass plains stretching across all directions and hundreds of grazing wildlife, it is impossible not to be struck with awe at the view.
