America's Wealthiest Self-Made Women Revealed

Forbes unveiled its list of America’s wealthiest self-made women, and all our favorite personalities are on it. 

Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift, three renowned entertainers, have secured their spots on the list of America’s top 100 highest-earning women.

According to Forbes, the women on the list experienced a boost in their fortunes due to the stock market’s recovery. Collectively, their net worth amounts to $124 billion, reflecting an impressive increase of nearly 12% compared to last year.

Forbes stated that Oprah Winfrey, aged 69, is the highest-earning woman among the celebrities on the list, ranking at 13 with a net worth of $2.5 billion. 

According to Forbes, Winfrey’s self-made score is 10, indicating that she “not only grew up poor but also overcame significant obstacles.” 

Rihanna, aged 35, holds the highest position among musicians. She co-owns Fenty Beauty with Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH), which is her main source of wealth.

According to Forbes, Fenty Beauty’s sales doubled in 2022, contributing significantly to her fortune.

Additionally, her Super Bowl halftime performance set a new record for the most-watched halftime show in history. With a net worth of $1.5 billion, she ranks at No. 20 on the list.

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift both made it into the top 50 of the list.

Beyoncé, aged 41, secures the No. 48 spot with a self-made score of 8. Forbes attributes her estimated net worth of $540 million to her success in the music industry. Earlier this year, Beyoncé broke the record for the most Grammy wins ever, earning 32 statuettes.

Taylor Swift, aged 33, ranks at No. 34 with a net worth of $740 million. Her latest album, “Midnights,” achieved a historic feat by occupying all top 10 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 song list. The intense demand for tickets to her 2023 Eras Tour led to Congress raising concerns about Ticketmaster’s dominance in concert sales.

Moreover, Kim Kardashian is at No. 21 with $1.2 billion, Tory Burch at No. 24 with $1 billion, Madonna at No. 45 with $580 million, Celine Dion at No. 56 with $480 million, Ellen DeGeneres at No. 73 with $380 million, and Serena Williams is at No. 89 with $290 million.
