Nedy Tantoco Hosts Grand Send-Off for Italian Envoy

There was champagne, a soprano and sampaguita garlands to scent the residence of Ambassador Bienvenido Tantoco on the night that his daughter Nedy hosted a farewell dinner for Italy’s Ambassador to the Philippines Massimo Roscigno, his wife Agnes and their daughter Ursula. It was lively company around the elegant dinner table. Everyone raised their glasses to the departing envoy, who had endeared himself to many and had done much to strengthen the ties between both countries. The gracious hostess pulled a surprise after dinner, awarding Madame Roscigno for her tireless contribution to the Philippine Italian Association, of which Nedy is president.
