The main ballroom of the Diamond Hotel Makati was filled to capacity with Young society’s stylish set on the night Fashion Designer Maureen Disini unveiled her 41-piece collection in collaboration with Inquirer Red.
Maureen showcased her strength in evening wear that featured her mastery in draping and new designs that were a testament to her mastery in creating eveningwear. The former stylist’s eye for drama and detail was evident in her collection that featured short trains, capes, various gowns in different silhouettes with distinct details such as incorporating beadwork or feathers or a big bow in key places in the outfit. The elegance in the collection is a reflection of the style and elan of her clients who quickly reserved their favorite pieces before mingling over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
