The Kienle’s Launch Philux Fix

There were certainly more than seats when Stephanie Gonzales and Jessica Maxwell opened Philux Fix at the SM Mega Fashion Hall. The collaboration between the proudly Filipino furniture company and creative celebrities had Manila’s smart set sitting on daybeds, couches, and hand-painted high backs. The fun crowd ran their hands over wood surfaces, opened cabinet doors, and drank wine during the cocktail reception. Each of the artisan crafted home staples had bespoke features to the specifics of the owners, who were photographed with their custom-made furniture. The photos were also on exhibit to make the occasion as much a contemporary art event as it was a party in the middle of a mall.
