Fashion enthusiasts and society figures were treated to a display of Filipino style, elegance, and innovation by fashion designer Puey Quiñones at the historic Goldenberg Mansion at the Palace. For many, it is the first look into the refurbished mansion, which used to be owned by the industrialist Michael Goldenberg.

The once private residence has been restored to its glorious state and is a venue that Malacañang has opened up for use for culturally significant events of this nature. The historic Mansion was unveiled in its glory, restored and ready for a fete.
A CELEBRATION OF FILIPINO IDENTITY
Quiñones has always been known for his ability to seamlessly blend modern designs with elements of his Filipino upbringing and appreciation. The collection showcased a vivid celebration of Filipino identity, incorporating intricate details, vibrant colors, and indigenous textiles. Each piece exuded a distinct Filipino flair while maintaining a contemporary and cosmopolitan appeal.
On that occasion, the first of what will be a fashion series hosted at the venue was unveiled. The Los Angeles based Filipino designer showcased his collection to a handpicked audience.
Seen at the event were couples Fernando and Kit Zobel, Johnny Velasquez and Maripi Muscat, Cong. Mikee and Sheila Romero, Mayor Albee and Nikki Benitez, Congressman Franz and wife Odette Pumaren.
Apart from using models, Quiñones invited Megaworld’s Kevin Tan and wife Mitch Tan, I-Fern’s Tommany Tan and wife Kim Abelar, presidential sister Aimee Marcos, Tourism Promotions Board’s Marga Nograles, photographer Jo Ann Bitagcol, Philippine Airlines President Stanley Ng to grace the catwalk for his show.
