Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons showcased Prada’s Spring/Summer Womenswear 2023 on September 22. Held at the Prada Fondazione in Milan, short videos by the Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon, Only God Forgives) played before and as the show commenced.
“There is a sense of the life of women,” Miuccia said in a statement on the collection. “Life and humanity crafts the clothes—not a superficial embellishment, but traces of living, leaving marks. This idea of clothes shaped by humanity excites us.”

A mix of actors, models, musicians, and more of the house’s friends was in attendance at the Spring/Summer showcase, held during the ongoing Milan Fashion Week.
