Rihanna’s Cartier Jewels
At last year’s Met Gala, Rihanna wore a custom Valentino gown on the red carpet along with an oversized jacket covered in roses. Her jewelry for the evening were all from Cartier. According to Page Six, the accessories were worth $25 million in total.
Dua Lipa’s 100-Carat Necklace
Also at the 2023 Met Gala, Dua Lipa turned heads with her 100-carat Lucida Star Necklace from Tiffany & Co. She was the first star to wear the luxury brand’s white Legendary diamond, as reported by Vogue. Along with the diamonds worth over $10 million, the singer wore a vintage Chanel ball gown (originally worn by supermodel Claudia Schiffer).
Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Blue Diamond
Amidst her black Valentino gown, Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Laguna Blue Diamond necklace stood out and caught everyone’s eye. The Bulgari piece featured a chain of diamonds and an 11.16-carat blue diamond in the center. According to Business Today, the vivid blue diamond sold for over $25 million at a Sotheby’s auction.
Gigi Hadid’s Matching Jewelry
Gigi Hadid attended the 2021 Met Gala wearing a strapless white Prada dress. Elevating her look, she also wore a diamond Jacob & Co. necklace with a 54-carat center stone and matching earrings. Marie Claire reported that the one of a kind piece is worth $12 million.
Jennifer Lopez Dripping In Diamonds
Going back a couple more years, Jennifer Lopez’s 2019 Met Gala look was as sparkly as it could get. Dressed in a form-fitting gown that mimicked real diamonds, she completed it with a shimmering headdress and jewelry from Harry Winston. According to Business Insider, the jewels were worth $8.8 million all in all.
Anitta’s Million-Dollar Watch
As for wrist accessories, Anitta wore the Roger Dubuis Velvet Platinum 38MM watch at last year’s Met Gala. Paired with a black Marc Jacobs gown, white gloves, and black platforms, the watch was valued at a cool $1.4 million, as reported by Vogue.
